In Canada, Seven Spices Recalled for Undeclared Sesame

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and AGT Clic Foods are recalling Seven Spices because it contains sesame seeds, a food allergen, that is not declared on the label. Anyone with an allergy to sesame could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product. There is no word on whether or not any illnesses have been reported to date.

RecallThe recalled product is Clic Royal Seven Spices in 100 gram containers. All lot codes are recalled. The UPC number isĀ 0 58504 41440 3. The product was sold at the retail level in Ontario and Quebec.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to sesame, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
