In Canada, Ukrainian Co-op Wieners Recalled for Unsuitable Ingredients

The CAnadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Ukrainian Co-Op Assoc. are recalling wieners because they may contain unsuitable ingredients. There is no word on any injuries or illnesses, or what the unsuitable ingredients are. They were sold in Saskatchewan at the retail level.

Recall SignageThe recalled products are meat wieners of variable weights, packaged on dates from June 24, 2014 to June 27, 2014, inclusive. The UPC number is 200101 500502. This is an update of an earlier recall where Northern Natural Processing ribeye and boneless trim combo were also recalled for “unsuitable ingredients.”

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Return it to the place of purchase for a refund or discard.
