In Canada, Wafers Recalled for Undeclared Milk

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Gigi Importing are recalling Poker Cacao Wafers for undeclared milk, one of the major food allergens. Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they eat this product. There is no word on whether any allergic reactions have been reported to date.

RecallThe recalled product is Gastone Lago Elledi Poker Cacao Wafer with Cocoa Cream in 150 gram packages. The UPC number isĀ 6 9464900287 9. All codes are recalled where milk is not declared on the label. It was sold at the retail level in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
