Indican Corriander + Cumin Powder Recalled for Undeclared Gluten

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Fruiticana Product Ltd. are recalling Corriander + Cumin Powder from the marketplace because it contains undeclared gluten. Celiacs and anyone who is sensitive to gluten could become ill if they consume this product. There is no word on whether or not any illnesses have been reported to date.

RecallThe recalled product is Indican Corriander + Cumin Powder – Dhania Jeera Powder, sold in 400 gram containers. The code on the product is KFBL05 and the UPC number isĀ 6 27726 10621 4. It was sold in Alberta and British Columbia at the retail level.

If you purchased this product and cannot eat gluten, do not consume it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
