More Raw Pork Products Recalled in Canada for E. coli

More raw pork products are being recalled in Canada for possible contamination with E. coli O157:H7 by V&T Meat Wholesale in Chestermere, Alberta. There has been one reported illness associated with the consumption of these products. And there is an outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 in Alberta that has sickened at least 153 people in that province.

Warning Recall SignThe raw pork products were sold at Trimming Fresh Meats Ltd. at 3-6219 Centre Street NW in Calgary between July 15, 2014 and July 22, 2014 inclusively. They were also sold at Hiep Hoa Asian Food at E-4710-17th Avenue SE in Calgary between July 15, 2014 and July 29, 2014, inclusively; and between August 14, 2014 and August 17, 2014, inclusively.

Consumers, food service establishments, retailers, distributors, and manufacturers in Alberta should not consume, serve, use or eat these products. If you have the recalled products in your home, discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
