Alpine Sausage Recalled for Undeclared Allergen

Alpine Sausage Kitchen of Albuquerque is recalling approximately 3,350 pounds of beef and pork products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, soy. Consumers with allergies to soy should not eat this product.

alpine-sausage-recallThe sausage products were produced on various dates from February 4, 2014 and March 26, 2015. They include: 10-lb. boxes containing “Alpine Sausage Kitchen VIENNA SAUSAGE Calcium Reduced Dried Skim Milk Added;” and 10-lb. boxes containing “Alpine Sausage Kitchen COOKED BRATWURST (GERMAN BRAND).”

The recalled products have the establishment number “EST. 7060” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to a retail location in Texas.

There had been no reports of adverse reactions at the time of the recall. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.
