Boyle’s Corned Beef Recalls Beef Products for Undeclared Wheat

Boyle’s Famous Corned Beef Co. of Kansas City, Mo. is recalling an undetermined amount of beef productsboyle's-beef-recall because they contain an undeclared allergen, wheat. Consumers with allergies or sensitivities to wheat should not eat these products. They should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

The recalled product was produced between Nov. 24, 2013 and Nov. 24, 2015. It was packed in  20-lb. cases containing labelled “Boyle’s FAMOUS USDA CHOICE SEASONED-COOKED BEEF TOP ROUND.” The establishment number “EST. M-469” appears inside the USDA mark of inspection. The items were shipped to distributors in Iowa, Kansas and Missouri.

At the time of the recall, there had been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to the consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.
