Brown Betty Coconut Milk Powder Recalled for Undeclared Milk

Bedessee Imports is recalling Brown Betty Coconut Milk Powder Mix because it contains sodium caseinate. Casein is a milk protein. The label does not bear the allergen statement “Contains milk”. People who are allergic to milk could have a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product.

The recalled “Coconut Milk Powder” was sold in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, North Carolina, and Florida. If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a full refund.
