According to their web site, Giant Eagle is recalling several products today for undeclared milk and/or egg. There is no word on whether or not any illnesses have been reported in connection with the consumption of this product.
Giant Eagle Heat & Serve Fried Fish from the prepared foods department is being recalled. The UPC number is 23715600000, and there were no sell by dates or lot numbers. The label does not declare a milk or egg allergen. If you are allergic to milk and/or egg, do not eat this product. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
Also recalled are Bolillo rolls for undeclared egg. They are Bolillo Wheat Roll with UPC number 29775400000 and no sell by date or lot number, and Bolillo Rolls 6 count with UPC number 22775400000. They have no sell by date or lot number. If you purchased these products and are allergic to egg, do not eat them. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
