Giant Eagle Recalls Little Italy Paninis for Undeclared Egg

Giant Eagle is recalling all lots of Giant Eagle brand Little Italy Paninis, prepared and sold individually from the Prepared Foods department inside Giant Eagle and Market District supermarkets for undeclared egg, one of the major food allergens. People with an egg allergy could have a life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat one of these products. No illnesses have been reported to date.

RecallFPBThe recalled products are Little Italy Panini, Cold with UPC numberĀ 97525 20399 and Little Italy Panini, Hot with UPC numberĀ 07369 20399. They were sold individually from the Prepared Foods department through March 23, 2015. They were sold in Pennsylvania and Ohio.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to egg, do not eat them. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
