Hummingbird Wholesale in Oregon is recalling 110 jars of Hummingbird Brand Organic Chocolate Hazelnut Butter because it may contain undeclared milk, one of the major food allergens. No illnesses have been reported to date.
The recalled product has HW Item number N270, lot number 15023, and UPC number 6-96859-11035-1. It was sold to retail stores in California, Oregon, and Washington state, and directly to consumers in Oregon. The Chocolate Hazelnut Butter is sold in 1 pound (454 gram) glass jars. The dates on the stickers on the jars are 1/27/15 through 2/19/15.
A supplier changed ingredients without notice to include milk in the chocolate used to make the Hazelnut Butter. If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
