The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is announcing that Killarney Market’s recall of ground beef for E. coil O157:H7 has been updated to include pork and turkey. This recall was first issued on May 9, 2015. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of these products.
You can see the long list of recalled products, along with codes and UPC numbers, at the CFIA web site. They are all Killarney Market brand, and include lean ground beef, regular ground pork, ground pork extra lean, and ground turkey in variable sizes, among others.
Look at this list carefully. If you have any of these products in your home refrigerator or freezer, discard in a double bagged or sealed container, then wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
