Santa Barbara Smokehouse Recalls Salmon for Listeria

Santa Barbara Smokehouse in California is voluntarily recalling two batches of cold-smoked salmon made in August and September of last year, and all cold-smoked salmon packed between December 17 and 24, 2014, after testing positive for Listeria monocytognees. The bacteria was found in post-surveillance samples and environmental samples collected at the firm’s processing facility.
