Falcon Trading Company Inc. and SunRidge Farms of Royal Oaks, Calif. are recalling bulk bags of shredded coconut that may contain pieces of stainless steel wire. The wire is in very small pieces, the type used in the screening process during manufacturing.
The recalled item was sold in 25-pound bags with the item code 001120 the UPC 086700011201 and the lot codes DCM-101 AND DCM-102. Customers who have purchased this product should not use it.
No illnesses or injuries have been reported in connection with the SunRidge Farms recalled product to date. No other SunRidge Farms products are being recalled at this time.
