Taylor Farms Recalls Turkey Meatloaf for Undeclared Allergens

Taylor Farms of New Jersey is recalling 276 pounds of turkey meatloaf products for misbranding and undeclared allergens. The product contains eggs, soy, and wheat, three of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to any of those ingredients could have a serious allergic reaction if they eat this product. No confirmed reports of adverse reactions in connection to the consumption of this product have been received to date.

The recalled product is 13.9 ounce, single serve trays containing Taylor Farms “Turkey Meatloaf with tomato bacon glaze.” The product was made on October 15, 2015. It has the establishment number “P-34513” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The sell by date on the product is October 29, 2015. The meatloaf was shipped to retail locations in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

The problem was discovered by a Taylor Farms merchandiser. If you are allergic to eggs, soy, and/or wheat, do not eat this product. If you purchased this, throw it away or return it to the store where you bought it for a full refund.
