Trader Jo’s Dark Chocolate Covered Honey Grahams Recalled

Jo’s Candies of California is voluntarily recalling Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate covered Honey Grahams with Sea Salt because it may contain milk, one of the major food allergens, that was not declared on the label. Anyone who is allergic to milk could have a serious allergic reaction if they eat this product. Two reactions have been reported to date.

The recalled product is Trader Joe’s Dark Chocolate covered Honey Grahams with Sea Salt, packaged in an 8 ounce clear tub with  SKU 55024. It was distributed to Trader Joe’s stores nationwide. The recall was initiated after a consumer complaint.

You can see the long list of “BEST BY” dates of the recalled product at the FDA web site. The UPC number of the recalled product is 00550246.  The lot code is found on the clear side panel to the right or left of the label with the product name.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
