Western Meat Recalls 15 Months of Ground Beef for E.coli

Western-Meat-Ecoli-recallWestern Meat Co. of Tucson is recalling ground beef sold between January 1, 2014 and April 30, 2015 due to a possible E. coli 0157:H7 health risk. The recall affects 5 and 10 pound packages only. No illnesses had been reported at the time of the recall, but customers who have these products in their freezers should not use them as E. coli O157:H7 can cause severe illness.

The recalled products were sold to limited customers in the Tucson area who will be reimbursed by the company for any packages they have that are included in the recall.
