David Trail Mix Recalled for Undeclared Milk

The FDA’s Weekly Enforcement Report for the week of January 13, 2016 reveals some recalls that are not announced to the public. This week a recall for trail mix is reported. There is no word on whether or not any reactions or illnesses have been reported to date.

Recall SignsDavid Trail Mix Sweet & Salty is recalled for undeclared milk, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. The product is sold in individual plastic bags with a net weight of 5 ounces. The UPC number is 00 26200 23665 2. All lots distributed since 11/14/2012 are recalled. The product was shipped in cases of eight packages, 365-count multipack shipper case. The 36-count multi-pack cases contained Sweet & Salty flavor and Classic flavor. The product was distributed nationwide in the U.S., and in Hong Kong, Mexico, and to military bases in Georgia.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
