Duncan Hines Apple Caramel Cake Mix Recalled for Salmonella

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Pinnacle Foods Canada Corporation are recalling Duncan Hines brand Apple Caramel cake mix in Canada for possible Salmonella contamination. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product.

The recalled product is Duncan Hines Apple Caramel Cake Mix in 590 gram packages. The UPC number is 6 44209 02223 6 and the best before dates are 17 AL 07, 17 AL 08, 17 SE 27, and 17 JN 29. The product was sold nationally at the retail level.

If you purchased this product, do not use it. Throw it away in a sealed container or take it back to the store where you bought it for a full refund.
