Golden Gourmet Veggie Chips Recalled for Undeclared Milk

Bickell’s Snack Foods is recalling 2010 bags of Golden Gourmet Veggie Chips because they contain milk, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Anyone who is allergic to milk or who is lactose intolerant could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The recalled products is Golden Gourmet Veggie Chips in a 12 ounce (340 gram) package, with bag codes 26SEP16 Z4D1 and 26SEP16 Z5D1. They were distributed to stores in these states: Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Vermont, Wisconsin, and West Virginia.

The Golden Gourmet Veggie Chips label was put onto a Golden Gourmet Ranch Flavored Veggie Chips case. The Ranch Flavor contains milk. If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk or if you are lactose intolerant, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
