Popcorn Shoppe Recalls Popcorn Balls for Undeclared Allergens

The Popcorn Shoppe is voluntarily recalling three types of popcorn balls for undeclared milk and soy, two of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to milk and/or soy, or who is lactose intolerant, may have a serious reaction if they eat these products. No reports of illness have been received to date.

The recalled products are Olde Tyme Recipe Popcorn Balls, Edwards Orchard Popcorn Balls, and Edwards Orchard West Popcorn Balls. These products were sold as 4 individually wrapped 5 ounce popcorn balls in a clear plastic bag. The products were for sale at retail locations in Illinois and Ohio.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to milk and/or soy, or are lactose intolerant, do not eat them. Throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
