Speedy Foods Recalls Chicken Spring Rolls for Undeclared Egg

Speedy Foods of Colorado is recalling 920 pounds of chicken spring roll products because they contain eggs, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Anyone who is allergic to eggs and eats these products could have a serious allergic reaction. No reactions have been reported to date.

The recalled products are 75 ounce Brown Box packages containing 180 pieces of “Whole Fresh Foods Southwest Chicken Spring Rolls.” The product has a package code of 3-10-16 and a case code of 16151. Also recalled are 75 ounce Brown Box packages containing 180 pieces of “Whole Fresh Foods Southwest Chicken Spring Rolls.” That product has a package code of 08-08-2016 and a case code of 16151. The products have the establishment number “EST. P-7195” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to distributors in Colorado and Oklahoma.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to egg, do not eat them. Throw them away or take them back to the store where you purchased them for a full refund.
