Uncle Bucks Sweet & Salty Trail Mix Sold at Bass Pro Recalled

Uncle Bucks Sweet & Salty Trail Mix sold at Bass Pro has been recalled for possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this recall.

Uncle Buck Trail MixThe product is packaged in a 3 ounce clear bag with Uncle Buck paper header card and UPC number 752545073390. This recall only affects package with best by codes 031417 and 041817. The sunflower kernels used in this product were recalled for potential Listeria.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Throw it away in a sealed or double bagged container or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Then clean you cupboard, pantry, or drawers, wherever the product was stored, with a solution of one tablespoon liquid chlorine bleach to one gallon warm water to kill any remaining Listeria bacteria. Wash your hands well after handling this product.

If you ate this product, watch yourself for the symptoms of listeriosis for the next 70 days. They include high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Pregnant women may suffer miscarriage, stillbirth, or premature labor if they contract this infection, even though their illness is mild. If you do get sick, see your doctor.
