Whiskey Glass and Stone Sets Recalled for Laceration Hazard

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling Dennis East International Whiskey Glass and Stone Sets for a laceration hazard. The whiskey glass can spontaneously break during use, posing an injury risk. The product was manufactured in China.

About 1,200 sets are recalled in the U.S.; about 8 units were sold in Canada. The sets include a 16 ounce clear glass, four grey chilling stones and a black cloth bag. The SKU number is SKU 30335. There have been two reports of the whiskey glass breaking; no injuries have been reported.

The sets were sold at Providence Creations, Javic Wholesale, Woot stores and online from Woot stores from May 2015 through July 2016 for about $20. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled glasses and contact the firm for a full refund.
