Wild Planet Canned Chicken Breast Recalled for Foreign Material

Crider Inc. of Georgia is recalling about 5,610 pounds of canned Organic Roasted Chicken Breast because it may be contaminated with foreign materials. There is one report of a potential injury associated with the consumption of this product. A distributor received two complaints from consumers about this issue, one on October 2, 2016 and the other on October 9, 2016.

The recalled product is 1,496 cases of 5 ounce cans of “Wild Planet Organic Roasted Chicken Breast & Sea Salt – No Liquids Added.” The Best Buy Date is 01/16/18. The products have the establishment number “EST. 31812” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to multiple distributors for further distribution. The cans were produced on January 16, 2016.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Throw it away or take it back to the store where you bought it for a full refund.
