Meal Mart Chicken Breast Tenders Recalled for Foreign Materials

Schreiber Processing is recalling about 2,330 pounds of chicken tenders that may be contaminated with plastic pieces and are misbranded. The firm received a consumer complaint that triggered the recall. There have no no confirmed reports of injury or illness due to the consumption of this product.

The recalled product is 10 pound boxes containing “Meat Mart Battered & Breaded Chicken Breast Tenders.” The item code is 03-CTB and the production code is 0246. The product has the establishment number “P-787” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to institutional and retail locations in New Jersey, New York, and Washington. The chicken tenders were produced on December 8, 2016 and packaged on December 9, 2016.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Throw it away or take it back to the store where you bought it for a refund.
