Nacho Villa Tortilla Chips Recalled for Sesame

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Aliments Nacho Villa are recalling Tortilla Chips – Chipotle for undeclared sesame. Sesame is a legal food allergen in Canada. Anyone who is allergic to sesame could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. One reaction has been reported in connection with the consumption of this product.

The recalled product is Nacho Villa Tortilla Chips – Chipotle in 280 gram packages. The UPC number isĀ 6 27843 12816 8 and the code on the product is 14 04 17. The recall was triggered by a consumer complaint. The product was sold at the retail level in Quebec.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to sesame, do not eat it. Throw it away or take it back to the store where you bought it for a full refund.
