Reishi Coffee Recalled by Chun Yuen Trading Co. for Mislabeling and Undeclared Milk

Reishi coffee recalled for undeclared milkPackages of “4-IN-1 REISHI COFFEE” have just been recalled by Chun Yuen Trading Co. As reported by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), this coffee contains undeclared milk ingredients which were not mentioned on its labeling. Chun Yuen Trading Co. is headquartered in South El Monte, California.

The coffee affected by the recall was distributed nationwide to retail grocery stores in 12.7-ounce golden aluminum pouches. The erroneous labels were marked with the phrases “Instant Reishi Coffee 4 in 1,” “20 sachets/bag,” and “Net WT 360g (12.7oz);” no associated UPC code has been mentioned in the recall.

People who are allergic to milk may become seriously ill if they drink this instant coffee product. Packages should either be thrown away or returned to the store for a complete refund.
