Roche Chicken Recalled for Processing Defect

Hans Kissle Company of Massachusetts is recalling 6,348 pounds of ready to eat chicken products because of a potential process defect. That means bacteria could survive in the product. This is a microwavable ready-to-eat chicken bowl product.

The items were produced on various dates from December 1, 2016 through January 16, 2017. The recalled products include 16 ounce lidded bowls containing Roche brand “R Kitchen Sweet & Sour Chicken,” and 16 ounce bowls containing Roche brand “R Kitchen General Tso’s Chicken.” The products have the establishment number “P-7573” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to the Roche grocery store chain in the Boston, Massachusetts area.

If you purchased these products, do not eat them. Throw them away in a sealed container or take them back to the store where you bought them for a full refund.
