Shore Lunch brand Fish Breading/Batter Mix is being recalled in Canada for possible Salmonella contamination. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this issue. The products were sold nationally.

The recalled products are Shore Lunch Fish Breading/Batter Mix – Cajun Style in 225 gram packages. The codes on the product are 1064828 1/18/2018, and the UPC number is 0 24739 19363 5. Also recalled is Shore Lunch Fish Breading/Batter Mix – Original Recipe in 255 gram packages. The codes on that product are 1064839
1/17/2018, and the UPC number is 0 24739 19362 8.

If you purchased these products, do not use them, even if you are going to cook them. Throw them away in a secure garbage can or double wrapped package, or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
