Tasty Treat nonpareils recalled for undeclared milk

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reports that First Source, headquartered in Pico Rivera, California, has announced a recall of its “TASTY TREATS NONPAREILS MILK CHOCOLATE.” This milk chocolate product contains milk that was not listed on its ingredient statement; one person has already suffered an allergic reaction after eating the nonpareils.

Distributed to Bristol Farms retail stores throughout the state of California between 12/20/2016 and 9/20/2017, the milk chocolate nonpareils were packaged in 5-ounce plastic pouches marked with the UPC code 7 97299 00476 4. People who are allergic to milk have been advised to throw the product away without consuming it.
