Transilvania Trading is recalling Trader Joe’s brand apple sauce in Canada for potential presence of pieces of glass. The products were sold at Pirate Joe’s at 3744 West 10th Avenue in Vancouver, British Columbia. No injury reports have been received to date.
The recalled products are Trader Joe’s Organic Unsweetened Apple Sauce in 680 gram packages. All best before dates up to and including October 6, 2018 are included. The UPC number of that product is 00194877. Also recalled is Trader Joe’s First Crush Unsweetened Gravenstein Apple Sauce in 680 gram packages. All best before dates up to and including August 8, 2018 are recalled. The UPC number for that product is 00015905.
If you purchased these products, do not eat them. Throw them away or take them back to the store where you bought them for a full refund.
