Simply Eat HEB Meal Simple Chicken Salad Recalled For Undeclared Pecans

Anyone who is allergic to pecans could have a serious allergic reaction if they eat this product. No confirmed reports of illness or allergic reactions have been received to date.

The chicken salad products are labeled as “Curry Chicken Salad,” but actually contain Tarragon Chicken Salad, which includes the pecans. The recalled product is packaged in a 12 pounce clear plastic squared container of “Simply Eat HEB Meal Simple Curry Chicken Salad.”

The product has a best by date of 08/28/2019. And the recalled product has the establishment number “P-46445” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to a chain of retail grocery store locations in Texas. The problem was discovered by the company during a review of production records.
