Sea Port Raw Frozen White Shrimp Recalled For Cesium-137

Sea Port Raw Frozen White Shrimp are being recalled for possible cesium-137 contamination, which can make the shrimp radioactive. The shrimp may have been prepared, packed, or held under insanitary conditions. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this item. The recalling firm is Sea Port Products of Kirkland, Washington. The shrimp are a product of Indonesia.

Sea Port Raw Frozen White Shrimp Recalled For Cesium-137

The recalled product is Sea Pork Raw Frozen White Shrimp that are Easy Peel. The shrimp are jumbo size, 16/20 count per pound. The shrimp was sold in very small amounts of small retailers in the states of Alaska, California, Hawaii, Montana, Oregon, and Washington, and in American Samoa between July 10, 2025 and September 22, 2025.

The recalled products were sold in two different sizes with two different  best by dates. They are:

The lot codes are printed on the UPC barcode on the back of the bag. You can see pictures of the other sizes at the FDA web site. And at this time, no product that has tested positive of alerted for cesium-137 has entered U.S. commerce.

If you bought this shrimp, do not eat it. You can throw it away in a secure trash can after double bagging it so others can’t access it, or you can take it back to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
