The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has announced a recall by Merry LLC of its “Meyer Lemon Mini Miracle Tart Party Pack of 6” product. Although the cashews present in the product are declared on the “Ingredients” list, the packaging does not include cashews in the required allergens statement. This recall was prompted after a consumer noticed the labeling error and notified the company. The Meyer Lemon Mini Miracle Tart Party packs (net weight: 4.65 ounces) were distributed nationwide to retail stores. They are packaged in a 6-item black tray enclosed by a yellow sleeve marked with the UPC code 816247010876 on the back.
