Clif Bar & Company of Emeryville, CA. has issued a recall of CLIF BAR Nuts & Seeds energy bars, CLIF BAR Sierra Trail Mix energy bars, and CLIF Mojo Mountain Mix trail mix bars,  after its ingredient supplier, SunOpta recalled  sunflower kernels that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. At the time of the recall, Clif Bar has not received any reports of illness. However, consumers who have purchased these products should not eat them as Listeria can cause serious illness and death.
