Whole Foods Recalls Bran Muffins for Undeclared Egg and Milk

Whole Foods market is recalling Bran Muffin six packs for undeclared egg and milk, two of the major food allergens. The product was sold in the Southwest Region, which includes Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas. Those who are allergic to egg and/or milk could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The product was sold in six packs packaged in clear plastic containers. The PLU number isĀ 24857800499 and best by dates are 1/21/15 to 4/6/15. The error was discovered during a product review.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk and/or eggs, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
