Al Baghdadi Food Inc. Recalling Stuffed Potato with Beef

Al Baghdadi Food Inc. of Hazel Park, Michigan is recalling about 5,400 pounds of stuffed potato with a beef filling because of undeclared soy and milk and misbranding.

  • Fully Cooked Potato Chop Middle Eastern Brand Mashed Potato Stuffed with Beef Filling Artificially Colored
  • Establishment number EST. 44182 inside the USDA mark of inspection on the label
  • Produced between August 16, 2011 and April 2, 2012
  • Sold to retail stores, wholesale stores, and institutions in Arizona, Illinois, and Michigan

A supplier reformulated their product; change was not reflected on the label. FSIS discovered the issue during routine verification activity. There have been no reported adverse reactions associated with the consumption of this product.

Anyone with an allergy to soy or milk who consumes this product could suffer a serious or life-threatening reaction.
