Food Lion, Harveys and Reid’s Pull Daniella Mangoes

Food Lion, Harveys and Reid’s stores are all pulling Daniella mangoes from the store shelves because they are part of hte national Splendid Products recall. The mangoes are being recalled for possible Salmonella Braenderup contamination. These mangoes have PLU number 4051 and purchase dates from August 14 to August 29, 2012.

MangoIn addition, one packaged item sold at Food Lion is being recalled because it was made with the Daniella mangoes. It is Garden Highway Mango Medley with UPC number 8-26766-21437 with a sell-by date of August 28, 2012.

If you have purchased any of these products, dispose of them and bring the receipt or sticker back to the place of purchase for a refund. All of these companies are affiliates or divisions of Delhaize Group. Food Lion is located in 10 Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic states. Harveys operates in Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina. Reid’s has stores in South Carolina.
