Haig’s Delicacies Recalls Food for Undeclared Allergens

Haig’s Delicacies of California is recalling all Tzatziki, Falafel, Spanakopita and Tyropita because the product labels do not indicate the presence of allergens. The Tzatziki is being recalled because it contains undeclared milk. The Falafel contains undeclared wheat. And the Spanakopita and Tyropita contain undeclared wheat, milk, and eggs. Recall SignAnyone with a sensitivity or allergy to these ingredients could develop a life threatening reaction if they eat these products. Tzatziki is a Greek Yogurt, cucumber and dill dip/spread packaged in 8 ounce retail round deli containers and 5 pound bulk foodservice cases. Falafels are fried garbanzo bean balls which are packaged in 5 ounce retail rectangular deli containers and 5 pound bulk foodservice cases. Spanakopita is a triangular phyllo dough pastry with a spinach and cheese filling; it is packaged only in bulk foodservice cases. And Tyropita is a triangular phyllo dough pastry with a cheese filling that is packaged only in bulk foodservice cases.
