In Canada, Pie Crusts Recalled for Undeclared Egg

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is recalling Kinnikinnick Foods Pie Crusts because they contain undeclared egg, one of the major food allergens. No illnesses have been reported associated with the consumption of this product.

Recall SignageThe pie crust is in 290 gram packages. Each packge contains two 8-inch pie crusts. The UPC number is 6 20133 00600 9 and the best before dates are 2013NO20, 2013NO21, 2013DE11, and 2013DE14. The product was distributed in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario, but may have been distributed nationally.
