JKS Wholesale SVCS Inc. of Beltsville, Maryland is recalling “Torta de Pan” (bread pudding) because it may contain undeclared milk allergens. Anyone with a milk allergy who eats this product may have a serious or life-threatening reaction.

No illnesses have been reported in connection with the consumption of this product. A New York Department of Agriculture and Markets lab analysis revealed that the product contained milk that was not declared on the label. The label has been corrected, but “out of an abundance of caution” they are issuing this recall. The company has removed all affected product from stores and replaced it with correctly labeled product.
