Mister Snacks Recalls Sunbird Snacks Yogurt Raisins for Undeclared Peanuts

Mister Snacks Inc. of New York is recalling Sunbird Snacks Yogurt Raisins because they may contain undeclared peanuts, one of the major food allergens. Those with allergies to peanuts could have a life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the product.

Important RecallThe recall includes 161 cases, each containing twelve Sunbird Snacks 5 ounce Yogurt Raisin packages. The product comes in a clear 5 ounce bag marked with a lot number and expiration date of “EXP 0513 265” ink-stamped on the back of the package.

No illnesses have been reported in connection with the consumption of this product. The product was distributed nationwide in retail stores. The peanut-containing product was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of peanuts.  If you purchased this product and are allergic to peanuts, return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
