Private Selection Pies Recalled for Undeclared Eggs

Legendary Baking of Denver, Colorado is recalling 726 Private Selection pies because they may contain undeclared eggs. Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to eggs who eats one of these pies may have a serious or life-threatening reaction. No illnesses have been reported to date.

Important RecallThe product is 9-inch pies labeled “Apple Lattice” with UPC number 1111060195 and Lot Code 12296. They were distributed to Quality Food Centers (QFC) in Washington state and Oregon only. The pies have sell by dates of November 4 through November 26, 2012. The pies are sealed in a brown cardboard box with a see-through plastic label. They were sold as a fresh item at the consumer level.
