The recall of Sweets From the Earth Cakes in Canada has been expanded. The products contain milk that is not listed on the ingredient label. The cakes are manufactured by Ilana Robyn Foods Ltd. in Toronto, Ontario. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is monitoring the recall.
The latest product added to the recall list is:
- Spiced Carrot Cake
- 100 grams
- UPC number 855144001037
- Best Before dates up to and including February 27, 2012
- Product distributed in Ontario and Quebec
There has been one reported adverse reaction in connection with the consumption of this product. If you are allergic to milk and eat this cake you may experience a serious or life-threatening reaction.
