Treasured Harvest Pistachio Recall for Salmonella Expands

The recall of Treasured Harvest pistachios sold by Western Mixers Produce & Nut Company for possible Salmonella contamination has expanded. The pistachios were produced by ARO during the 2012 harvest year. No Salmonella has been found in Treasured Harvest products by the company or FDA. You can see pictures of all of the recalled products at the FDA web site.

Treasured-Harvest-Roasted-PistachiosThe recalled products are all sold under the Treasured Harvest brand name. They include: Roasted & Salted Pistachios in a 6 ounce clear plastic cup with lot numbersĀ 123050, 123140, 123320, 123450, 123360, 130150, 130240, and 130350; 12 ounce clear bags with lot number 130290; 28 ounce clear plastic tray with lot numbers 123100, 122960, and 123040; and 5 pound green bag with lot numbersĀ 123550, 130020, 122920, 123380, 130070. In addition, Raw, Shelled Pistachios sold in a 5 pound box are recalled, with lot numbersĀ 131160, 131200, 131230, 131300, 131400, and 131500.
