Sequel Naturals Ltd. which does business as Vega is recalling a limited quantity of nutrition bars that contain trace amounts of milk which is not declared on the label. One person has had an allergic reaction.
The recalled bars were sold nationwide. The varieties included are: Vega ONE bar in Choocolate Almond, Chocolate Cherry and and Double Chocolate; and Vega Sport Protein Bar in in Chocolate Coconut and Chocolate Saviseed. For specific lot codes and UPCs click the link above.
People who have severe sensitivity or allergies to milk should not eat these bars as a serious or life threatening allergic reaction could occur. The recalled products are currently labeled with a precautionary statement “Made in a facility that processes peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, dairy, and soy” However, Vega will be revisse the packaging so it reads “May Contain Dairy…”.
