In Canada, Lao Gan Ma Seasoning Recalled for Peanuts

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling Lao Gan Ma brand Seasoning because it contains undeclared peanuts, one of the major food allergens. Anyone with an allergy to peanuts could suffer a life-threatening reaction if they consume this product. There is no word on illnesses or reactions associated with the consumption of this product.

Recall SignThe recalled product is Lao Gan Ma Seasoning in 275 gram containers. The UPC number isĀ 6 921804 700764. All codes are recalled where peanuts are not declared in the list of ingredients. The product was made by JC Bunny Bunny Trading Co. Ltd. The product was distributed in British Columbia. If you purchased this product and are allergic to peanuts, return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
