In Canada, Oregano Recalled for Possible Salmonella

Conan Foods and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency are recalling Ellada Greek Oregano Leaves from the market because they may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product.

The recalled product is Ellada Greek Oregano Leaves in 2.27 kg containers. The product was sold from November 13, 2013 to September 20 2014 in Ontario and Quebec. The UPC number isĀ 8 90370 00046 1.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. discard in a double bagged or closed container or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
