In Canada, Seafood Pies Recalled for Undeclared Allergens

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Masstown Market are recalling seafood pies from the market because they contain egg and wheat that are not declared on the label. Anyone with an allergy to egg and/or wheat could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product. There has been one reported allergic reaction associated with the consumption of these products.

The recalled products are Catch of the Bay Fresh Fish Market Lobster Seafood Pie in 1200 gram packages. All best before dates where egg and wheat are not declared on the label are recalled. The UPC number is 205325 119998. Also recalled is Catch of the Bay Fresh Fish Market Atlantic Seafood Pie in 1200 gram containers. All best before dates where egg and wheat are not declared on the label are recalled. The UPC number is 205324 414995. The products were sold from Masstown Market in Masstown, Nova Scotia.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to egg and/or wheat, do not eat them. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
